Institute scale
As announced yesterday, we are introducing two new programs at the Institute (2 minute video overview):
Research Fellows — for individuals working in the field of Active Inference.
Partnerships — for organizations looking to engage with and support the Active Inference ecosystem.
We are excited to connect with the first individuals/organizations who will play unique and vital roles in co-enacting these programs.
EduActive unit
There are currently 11 active projects in the EduActive organizational unit.
We are currently active in the Parr, Pezzulo, Friston 2022 Textbook Intermission Group — before continuing Cohort 6 and beginning Cohort 7. If you are interested in contributing to the future of the Textbook Group in the coming weeks, check out the project page where already there. Here is the link to register for Cohort 7.

ReInference unit
There are currently 9 active projects in the ReInference organizational unit.
The RxInfer.jl learning group continues to learn about this fascinating Julia language package and how it can be used for Active Inference modeling. Following the recent ModelStream #010.1 with Bart van Erp, Albert Podusenko “Building a Drone with RxInfer.jl” stream, we kept up with the new RxInfer.jl v3 release, and discussed our various projects in different stages.
Exciting progress is being made by Interns and other participation (specifics to be included in future newsletters).
